About
The Afghan Student Association is a student-led club that promotes the beauty of Afghan culture through unique events and socials. We aim to unite the Afghan diaspora in order to allow for the preservation of our culture and its singularity. We intend to keep our culture alive by showcasing our traditions and provide a "home away from home."
Typical events & activities
Multiple events throughout the quarter (ex: Afghan Music Night, Corn Maze, and Chai and Chill Night, etc.)
Annual Charity Banquet (ex: Live Afghan singer, traditional dance performances, Afghan food, etc.)
Annual Soccer and Basketball Charity Tournament
Benefits of joining
Meet a variety of students from different backgrounds that are not limited to Afghans only
Understand the traditions and oneness of Afghan culture
